James Jackson is a 22 year old web developer who has a passion for the internet and technology. His interest in the internet started very shortly after first getting online. Since, James has developed his own skills and created countless websites. At the height of his webmastering his sites where reaching tens of thousands of visitors a day.
In 2005, James enrolled at the University of Leicester to study Computer Science. While at university he kept running his own websites. In 2008 he graduated with a 2:1 degree in Computer Science (Honours) BSc.
Before James had finished university he secured a job with Xervia in Nottingham, UK (owned and ran by Mike Duma). During his time at Xervia he was involved in TalkBizNow and other large projects. Xervia suffered cash flow difficulties and was liquidated at the end of October 2008. For 3 weeks in November 2008 he worked for the Health Sciences Department at the University of Leicester creating their new departmental website using the Plone CMS, before joining Quvex (owned by Mike Duma's mother and run by Mike Duma).
Following cash flow problems at Quvex, he joined Jadu on the 13th of October 2009 as a Test Engineer, tasked with creating a system for automated software testing.
Outside of work he continues to do his own websites and projects. Current projects include a Content Management System and php Framework, a community based site (more details to come), 3D jQuery carousel, and a few others.
